Mazatapec Magic Mushroom

Along with P. Cubensis Huatla, the Mazatapec Magic Mushroom (Psilocybe Cubensis Mazatapec Mexicana) represents one of the first mushroom species to be imported to the West. This terrified and magical mushroom strain was first discovered in Mazatapec, a region of Mexico a few hours south of Mexico City. The indigenous Mazatec people were the first to use these mushrooms. Magic mushrooms have a long history of use among the Mazatec people for spiritual healing.
